When my mom stirred she hum songs. Mostly they would be old R&B. My sisters would join her, and they would be dancing and laughing. They use to act out the songs and have different parts. Me and pops would watch football.
Pops will chuckle and say,"Can you guys turn down yall performance."
Moms laughed out," What you don't like my dance moves". The girls walked up behind her and stirred the rotel in the pot.
Pops raised up and said," None of yall can beat me." Everyone danceed besides Moms cause she was tending to the food. She was the judge. She picked most of the time cause I was the youngest.
Moms said," I liked all of yours but, I got to pick my big baby." Then she smiled.
Pops comes out and says," Cheaters!!" While he was laughing and everyone would laugh.
One of my sisters said," Daddy I want to see a recount to."
Moms said,"Well too bad because the food ready".
I yelled out," Bout time i'm hungry."Everyone laughed and went into the kitchen got a plate and got some chips and rotel dip. Me and my sisters would ask Pops to tell us stories about him when he was younger. He told us about when he was like five or six when all the kids use to throw rocks at each other. He told us he use to rock Moms and Uncle Ray to death. We would all laugh and Moms would get angry and tell us to eat our food. Then she would laugh hard. Which made us laugh.
I said,"Pops how hard did you hit Uncle Ray?"
Pops said," I use knock skin from them," then looks at Moms and chuckle. Then Pops would ask me if I wanted to have a eatin competition, we will start then the would be cheering us on. He would let me win some times, but most of the time he would win.
After we got done everybody would sit and watch football abd mess around and play and joke with Moms and Pops.

Together
In the article "An American Role-Reversal: Women the New Breadwinners" believe some women do it by their selves.
I believe that the man and the woman should be both the breadwinners how the economy is today.
The man and the woman should both work to get their family through. Professional woman generally have its precious commodity. Blue-Collar men often don't. She have a job that has benefits so the family can have health insurance and he take cares of the other things. So they won't have to pay so much for medical things. Donald Kennel is finishing his associate's degree, made affordable by the tuition benefit from his wife's teaching job. He is trying to get a job to help his wife with everything. Trying to get a degree so he can help bring home the bacon.
Some men bring home some money but has a job that can allow them to stay home and take care of the kids. Her husband, Todd, 40, is a carpenter. They discussed having a second child. Financially, it would make sense for her husband to stay home rather than to use day care. His job give him time to take care of the kids. Also, there money is kind of low so they don't want to take their kids to be in the day care. When Stagg went to officer's candidate school in Georgia, he visited every weekend, then took a pay cut to live there. His job allows him to move where she goes and work. Also, he can stay home with the kids.
Both parents need to work together to make it with this economy. Some men work and take care of the kids because they are able to. This is how it should be in my eyes.
